Beliefs

It is important that you know what our church believes to be essential. As such we have a complete Statement of Faith that we strongly encourage you to study further.

New Hope views itself as being within the mainstream of Christianity with theological beliefs that are rooted in Wesleyan & Anabaptist thought.

While we consider our beliefs essential to who we are we also recognize the many differences throughout the body of Christ on all points of doctrine. We seek to practice the principle: In all things essential, unity, in all things nonessential, liberty and in all things, charity.

Things you’ll want to know…

God calls every church to a vision and ministry that is unique to them. In fulfilling what God has called us to be we never want to imply that our vision is somehow more right than the vision God has given to others.

New Hope is a non-traditional church in terms of how we approach worship, programming, organization and leadership.

New Hope is a non-charismatic church yet we are strongly focused on the work of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our ministry.

New Hope takes church seriously. We are very intentional about the necessity that each of us moves from where we are now to where God intends for us to be. We gather here every week because we truly want to experience the change God has for our lives.
