These small groups include many of our various service/ministry teams and service focused groups.
Short-term Missions
Be part of a work team to a foreign country. This is your chance to experience life outside your comfort zone and make a difference in the lives of others. Trips range from one to two weeks in length. Other work team opportunities are offered within our region so everyone can participate in hands-on missions.Occurs about every 18 months
Nursing Home Ministry
Join the team that provides this ministry to Oak Leaf Manor. The service includes singing, special music, speaker and communion. Assist the residents, hand out hymnals, help sing, and more. Occurs monthly on the 2nd Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
Worship Team
The purpose of worship at New Hope is to create an atmosphere in which we can experience the presence and power of God. The Worship Team meets for rehearsals on Thursday evenings. The team is composed of singers and musicians. Being part of the team is a major, yet rewarding commitment. Sound Techs
This is a major, yet rewarding commitment. Our technicians have a rotating schedule including worship practices. Besides technical ability, the key qualification is a heart that will be fully supportive of Farid, our Director of Worship Ministries. Occurs weekly.
Visual Media
This team strives to meet the visual media needs of all our services and includes computer work, video, lighting, media presentations, and more. Media techs serve on a rotating schedule. Discuss the details with our Director of Visual Media.
Greeters & Hosts
Join us as we serve the wonderful people who come to New Hope each week. Greet guests, host the guest table, distribute bulletins, assist in the parking lot during rainy weather, help receive the offering, and generally assist in anyway possible to make our services a positive experience.
Security Team
Join those who help provide a safe environment for our children and everyone who attends services at New Hope. Occurs weekly so call for details.
Connection Cafe’
Join our coffee bar team as we serve the people of New Hope by extending a warm welcome and offering great coffee, tea, and varied refreshments. If you are friendly, like to smile, and enjoy meeting new people, this is the team for you. Occurs weekly on Sundays at 9:00am.
Hospitality Team
Help provide meals when babies are born and when our partners have other emergencies like surgery. Occurs as needed
Nursery
Join this team of caregivers who provide a loving and safe environment during our worship services. There are many ways to care for our little ones from birth to age three and until potty trained. Caregivers serve on a rotating schedule. Occurs weekly on Sunday’s at 9:15 a.m.
Kids’ Church
Join this team if you love kids and love having fun. You can serve as a teacher or as a helper for those ages three through first grade. Team members serve on a rotating schedule. Occurs weekly on Sunday’s at 9:15 a.m
Junior Church
Join this team as a teacher or helper for those grades 2 through 6. Team members serve on a rotating schedule. Juniors worship for part of the service, and then go to their 1 hour class time. Occurs weekly on Sunday’s at 9:30 a.m.
Youth Ministry
Join teens grades 7 through 12 for unreal fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. You won’t believe these guys. Enjoy weekly gatherings here at New Hope, special activities, and service opportunities. Occurs weekly on Wednesday’s at 6:45 p.m.
